What does Research Use Only mean?

Research Use Only, or RUO, means these products are supplied solely for legitimate laboratory research and in vitro experimentation. They are not intended for human or animal use, diagnosis, treatment, prevention or clinical applications. Review the Pure Bio Labs RUO Policy before ordering.

Are Pure Bio Labs products intended for human or animal use?

No. Pure Bio Labs products are not intended for human or animal consumption or administration. Product names, formats and research descriptions do not change their laboratory-only intended use.

Products & Formats

Formats, labels, quantities and included materials
What research product formats does Pure Bio Labs offer?

The catalog may include lyophilized vials, liquid research formats, capsules, topical research formats and research sets. Availability changes over time, and every format remains subject to the same Research Use Only restrictions.

What does lyophilized mean on a product page?

Lyophilized means the material has been freeze-dried to remove water and support stability in its dry state. Review the individual product page, label and batch documentation for the exact labeled quantity and product-specific storage information.

Are laboratory supplies included with each product?

Not unless the product listing expressly says so. Research compounds are generally sold as individual products, and accessories, diluents or other laboratory supplies should not be assumed to be included.

How do I confirm the quantity or format I am ordering?

Check the product title, variant selection, labeled quantity, product description and cart before checkout. If any specification is unclear, contact support before placing the order and reference the exact product page.

Can customer support select a product for a medical or personal objective?

No. Pure Bio Labs does not select products for medical, therapeutic, personal or veterinary objectives. Researchers should choose materials according to an established laboratory protocol and the product's documented specifications.

Quality & COAs

Batch documentation, analytical methods and report interpretation
What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?

A Certificate of Analysis is a laboratory report associated with a product or batch. Depending on the product format and test panel, it may document identity, purity or assay, quantity and other analytical results. Always read the actual report rather than relying on a general purity statement.

How do I find the correct COA for my product?

Use the COA Reports page to search by product, batch or test date. Match the report to the identifying information on the product label or order documentation. Contact support if you cannot locate the applicable report.

Are Pure Bio Labs products third-party tested?

Pure Bio Labs publishes independent testing information and available batch reports for its research catalog. Review the applicable COA and the Testing Standards & Verification page for the test methods and scope relevant to a specific product.

What do HPLC and mass spectrometry show?

High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) can characterize purity or composition within the scope of the method. Mass spectrometry can support identity verification by evaluating molecular mass. Neither test, by itself, establishes clinical safety, efficacy or approval for human or animal use.

Why can testing differ between vials, capsules, sprays and topical formats?

Different formats contain different matrices, carriers or excipients, so the appropriate analytical method and reported result may differ. The product-specific COA is the authoritative record of which tests were performed for that sample or batch.

Does a high purity result mean a product is approved for clinical use?

No. Analytical purity describes a measured characteristic of a sample under a stated method. It does not establish safety, therapeutic efficacy, regulatory approval or suitability for human, animal, diagnostic or clinical use.

Storage & Handling

Product receipt, documentation and laboratory storage controls
How should I store a Pure Bio Labs research product?

Follow the product-specific label, product page and available documentation. Storage requirements can vary by material and format. Unless a product states otherwise, protect sealed research materials from excess heat, moisture and direct light.

Why do storage instructions vary by product format?

Physical state, formulation, packaging and research timeline can affect stability requirements. A general FAQ cannot replace the instructions for the exact product and lot in your possession.

What information should a laboratory record when an order arrives?

Good documentation commonly includes the product name, labeled quantity, lot or batch identifier, delivery date, package condition, storage conditions and the matching COA. Follow your institution's own chain-of-custody and inventory procedures.

What should I do if the package arrives warm or the seal appears damaged?

Do not rely on appearance or transit temperature alone to make an analytical conclusion. Photograph the package and label, preserve the lot information, review the product-specific storage guidance, and contact support promptly if the seal or shipment appears compromised.

Can support provide a laboratory reconstitution protocol?

Support may clarify product documentation, but it cannot design or validate a laboratory procedure for your study. Qualified researchers should use an established protocol, suitable controls and their institution's safety procedures.

Pure Bio Labs offers a wholesale inquiry path for eligible business customers. Visit the Wholesale page to review the current program and submit an application.
